Headliner Board

Your best bet for speed/price is going to be going to the junkyard. Search around and go take a look, you might find a few other pieces at a good price while you're there, plus you'll have an idea of whats available for future projects.

No Luck
So, after trudging around 5 junkyards and nearly sweating to death in the Northeast sun and heat, I had no luck in finding a headliner board for the '94 Dodge Dakota. One yard said "we pick them up with a forklift" thus destroying the part I am seeking.
For now I will keep the clean, stripped down look with nothing between me and the cab roof. At some point I may try to get inventive, but me thinks anything I do to create an unofficial headliner board will look pretty tacky.

Oh, I wish I were in Wisconsin...
Unfortunately, I am in Northern Delaware, but thanks for the information.
I'm OK with the industrial look for now... it finally rained, and that sounded kinda cool on the roof!
I"m not going to attempt a fix with MDF... I understand that formaldehyde is somehow involved in its manufacture.
In the fall I may call around to yards in south Jersey.
