1987 to 1990 or so is about it.

Can you repair your current one?

Can you post a picture of the item?

91-93 are the same pumps for 5.2/3.9.

The parts (save for the pump itself!) do not swap with Tomwsii's 1989.

I had to rebuild mine back when I replaced the pump itself (and now it's acting up again, hence my thinking on swapping to a 91-93 tank and pump, since the 1991 was still TBI.)

Thanks for the feedback guys! I was able to locate a 1988 in a nearby junkyard. I got the whole assembly out of the fuel tank! It sucks they are so hard to find! Hopefully this one will last awhile, if not I may have to get a newer fuel tank as well

I'm curious as to how you were able to remove the float assembly. I'm looking for a complete tank, because someone decided it was easier to drill holes in my tank to steal my gas.

Given the price of gas.... I suspect that is going to become a lot more common.....

My truck was stolen a few years ago. I got it back but the thieves did the same thing to me, drilled a hole in the tank to drain the gas. Not an ideal solution, bit a friend was able to patch the hole. This was 6-7 years ago and the patch is still holding.

If you mean the float arm, it will drop down along the length of the body of the pump as you lift it out of the tank.
