Glen, thanks for the link. FWIW Im swapping a 2000 5.9 into my 87. My plans are to basically splice the new 2000 compressor lines to the 87 truck lines. I do like how you did yours, and as Ralph said, getting the factory parts to seal has been challenging!!

Ralph, Im going to start a different thread, so not to pollute this one with other issues.

Just an update. I have a pic of where the air filter ended up. I have a shield for it so the tire does not throw anything at it. It lowered the IAT 50F. I picked up my Dana 60 rear end. Will be tackling rear end swap and transmission in spring.

Good location on the air cleaner, considering putting a V8 in a 87-90 is like stuffing 10lbs of Sardines in a 5lb can!!
are you going to have to narrow the rear?
Are you going to keep the leafs?
Enjoy your post!!

It has already been narrowed to 65-72 B body. I ran this in my 77 Plymouth Volare. Its 3 inches narrower than the stock rear end. I can fix that with rim backspacing and width, will let me run a wider rear tire. Perch mounts need moved and make some shock mounts.
I will be staying leaf springs as to ladder bar it would require moving the gas tank and re-doing tail pipes. I'm going to try to use the slide-a-link traction bars from the Volare. I will need to fab the front hangar.

I am building a 5.7 Hemi to put in a 94 and would like to know how that brake booster swap is going ?? Are you still using a D250 booster and cylinder ??

The d250 brake booster and master cylinder work good. Its not exactly the right one. Its angled up and I moved the pivot for the pushrod in the brake pedal to straighten its angle. I had to shorten the pushrod as well. I had to oval the firewall holes as its bolt pattern was wider. I also had to change a brake line fitting as one was different.

I might try manual again some day. Just need one with a smaller bore. Would have to be a Wilwood and was more expensive.

The aluminum master would fit that brake booster, the one I have I thought was leaking so I bought a booster that came with the master.
