I'll be using a battery impact wrench to get mine out, and to get the ones at the boneyard out.

That's part of what I'll be getting Monday.

Might see about getting a few extra sets; dunno, depends on finances and time.

Wish I could blast and powder coat mine but that wont happen. I'll settle for wire brush, prime, paint. I have one of those small sandlblast canisters but the thing is moody and I have no patience for it. So I'll wire wheel them. Good enuf. I don't care what I look like anymore so I see no reason why I should care what my body mount hardware looks like either. So long as it is somewhat protected from the elements.

The wife's wheel bearings will be here tomorrow so I can finish up her damn Jeep and get back on my truck. Four more things I want to do...body mounts, rack bushings, motor mounts, and leaf spring bushings. Then I want to take a break till Spring (if it lets me).

R, I'll be interested to see how well you get those body mount bolts out at the pick n pull. Those will be 5 years older than mine (plus sitting outside for who know how long) so if you get them out without much damage then I'll feel even better about my odds.

One thing to remember - we're not Rust Belt here.

That's a good chance to get mine out.

Also, if it's used the Mopar Underbody Treatment Plan (leaking oil and transmission fluid ) then they should be easy to get out.

LOL!

I'm not in the rust belt either. Thankfully.

Have W/Os Tuesday, and wife has two doctor's appointments Wednesday the 22nd. After that, my next day out running appears to be a wife's doctor's appointment the 27th. I figure that gives me five days (which includes Christmas - a typical Louisiana Christmas, highs in the 70's) to do what I need.

Now if I could just get the rack and new to me intermediate shaft (I'm going to see if a Camaro part can be modified to fit our trucks; this will give me a collapsable intermediate shaft so a better choice for 91+ Dakotas.)

If so, I'll try to get pics. But probably not; if I pick up the washers Monday, I'll need to get them to the powder coater, and probably won't have them back until next week.

Or if they're good enough, rust reformer and flat black rattle can paint ...

I tried finding the part numbers of that hardware from the parts catalog but could not find them. I looked in the body and frame sections and nothing popped up. Come to think of it, I don’t remember finding any body mount removal/install instructions in the FSM either.

I’m not 100% certain what the parts look like. Thinking there are 3 pieces. Bottom looks like a candlestick holder and the top a washer plus a bolt.
