The roll up doors were installed yesterday, just in time for a wind advisory starting at 1 am last night. 70 mph wind gusts until 2 pm today. I'm glad we got the building sealed up just in time!
The finish coat of stucco is going on the building this Friday. Not much else has been happening. Mud and tape should start next week. Have a happy New Year, everyone!

Can they do that in the cold??? How IS the weather by you? Cold and rainy here today. (Michigan) Supposed to turn to snow later, but, I doubt we'll see any accumulation.
We plan on heating the building to accomplish that. I have two 8.55 gallon propane tanks filled and waiting. My contractor is renting a flameless propane heater that is safe for indoor use (so he says). I will have to see it to believe it. I was under the impression all propane heaters should not be used in enclosed spaces. But, the heater will need to run 24/7 until the mud is done and cures. The weather this week is mid forties and clear. In the twenties overnight.
Not sure how you extract heat from propane without burning it...... so "Flameless" seems kinda odd.....
Biggest concern (aside from igniting anything flammable in the air....) is carbon monoxide.... I used a kerosene torpedo heater in my garage one day, doing some work on one of my trucks..... It was COLD out... so, yeah... I had been out there for a couple hours, and noticed I was inordinately tired... so, went inside to sit for a while.... I was kinda surprised when as soon as I left the garage, I started feelin' better.... big surprise. Then I realized what was happening. Simply cracking the garage door a couple inches solved the issue. It was still warm enough to work in there, but, I could also breathe.
A fast moving system came through today with high winds, so the stucco was postponed until Monday. Yeah, winter weather. Never can tell what it will be like. Wait 15 minutes, and will change.

Sounds like Michigan. But, it's only five minutes.
Finally a break in the weather! They got the color coat of stucco on today. I am still waiting to here when they will start on the interior. The exterior is now just trim paint away from being finished. The interior only needs mud, tape, texture, paint, and finish electric. Then I can have the floor coating put in, and install my wood burning stove. I am really starting to chomp on the bit for final sign off!
