RE: trouble code p done
rmac, just went through that one myself. got my baby back out of the shop a couple of days ago. All I can say is get ready to replace everything and flush the radiator. We still have no idea what was the original problem with mine, but whatever the initial problem was, it caused the head gasket to blow. Our compression test was coming back fine and so was the carbon test, but the gasket was still blown. Good luck, sorry I was not much help, but there we were literally shooting in the dark trying to find my problem. Oh, we tried bars leak gasket repair, it did not work.

2001 Dodge Dakota Starts and Stops
Tried the on off suggestion and got the P doNE code replaced the fuel pump and the pcm. The truck starts and shuts off right away. It is a 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport Quad Cab 4.7 liter V8. Temporary power to the fuel pump plug in. Relaced fuel pump relay.

I could not start my vehicle again after it started to cough and sputter, had the trouble code, P done on my digital odometer and all, thought the gas pump was going, not that, to test, I put a little gas down the intake, would not start, even though the strobe light was triggering, was a weak coil, replaced the coil and all got better. PS, I use a MSD5 box on my coil, gives smoother idle and you do not have to change spark plugs so often.

2000 Durango won't start
I went to go somewhere and unlocked and opened up the doors, went around and opened up the hatchback which then set my alarm off. usually all I need to do is insert the key in the door, lock and then unlock to reset but this time I had to turn the ignition on then off. Now it wont start, dead. I had a clicking noise but after taking the starter off to get tested and reinstalling it, there is no noise at all. checked the battery, starter, fuses and replaced the negative terminal wiring. the only code that will show is P done, which from my understanding just means that there are zero codes stored. think it is related to my anti-theft system and was told that the only way to fix it is to have a Dodge dealer reprogram it. Does anyone have any other possible solutions before I have this towed.
