Default Durango ildling problem

Hello, I am having a rough idle when I start up my 2000 dodge durango. It has the 4.7 liter. Along with the rough idle it is stalling out when I am stopped at a red light or stop sign. Along with all that it losing power as i am driving along. I though at first it was a sensor on the throttle body but now that it is stalling and has lose of power I have know clue. I thought what better way to diagnose the problem than to talk with people who know dodge vehicles. I hope you can help me out before I have to take it to a shop or dealer. Thanks again.

I dont know if a rough idle is caused because of a partially stopped up catalyic converter but that will cause it to stall out. My durango was stalling out on me at idle a few days ago turned out to be a stopped up cat. Replaced it and its running fine. Although we found a leak in my water pump gasket and a cracked harmonic balancer while working on the cat lol so gotta get to a shop tomorrow. Good luck.

It has brand new champion spark plugs in it. I replaced the Throttle position sensor and it did not make it better. I just got back from outside and it will not even run anymore. What would a bad fuel filter make it run like?

On the cluster does it show NO BUS, if it does disconnect the crank sensor and try start. The engine will start with just the cam sensor, takes a little longer to start.

Check the fuel pressure and load test the battery.

Did you clean the AIC sensor when you changed the TPS?
