The cruise light should come on green when the Cruise Master switch is activated. That is normal.....not engaging is a different item....

+2 on possible brake switch....Different vehicle but same concept...Before the D I had a 98 Jeep Cherokee with the brake switch problem.....I couldnt get cruise to activate....it took a couple of trips to dealer but ultimately the brake switch was replaced and no further issues......The switch came out of adjustment and there was just enough slack for the brake switch to think the brakes were on thereby not alllowing cruise control to engage.

Confirmed on my ride home today....When the on/off switch is set to ON the green "CRUISE" light comes on...Other than engaging the set button there are no other lights....the light doesnt change color just let you know the cruise master switch is on.

sorry guys i forgot to come update. i got it fixed this morning actually. there was a vacuum hose that was not connected near the brake booster. not sure how it was disconnected as i have never removed it before. Possibly the hose has stretched a bit and is a loose fit. I seem to have have that problem with the large vacuum line going into the air cleaner too.

This forum is awesome.

If it was the vac lines. Then they probably got stretched out at the couplings after all these years. When I bought my D, I dove around with a loose evap test port in the engine for a few weeks until I started mildly modding it! All those rubber things get dry and loose under all that heat! LOL! Thanks for updating us, Rus. BTW, I should have seen your sig the first time, my mistake.
