2001 Durango with a possible ABS brake issue... need help!
#41
durangotango98. I had the same problem years ago and changed my ABS Module, ABS sensors, speed sensors and it never fixed the problem. Took it to the dealership and their bottom line quote was $800 and no guarantee that the problem would be solved for that price (After all Dealership's motto is "there could be more then one thing wrong with your car causing the problem, maybe even 3 or 4 if they have to start throwing parts at the problem") So I said to hell with it and pulled my ABS fuse and been driving without problems ever since - that was I think 3 years ago.
Pull your ABS fuse and if the problem goes away you may want to keep it as is and drive a little more safely.
