Default Aftermarket Hoods

I am looking into an aftermarket hood. I am not real familiar with any companies that make parts for the Durango. Can anyone suggest a good company to look at?

I know from what I've seen from Indy, Moore makes an awesome Ram Air hood.

go onto summitracing.com , type in your trucks info, and look under the "hoods" section and there will be a good list of what you can get.

My personal favorite is the cuda style hood, because its subtle but you can see it there if ya look, its fiberglass, and its also makes for a ram air system. BUT its also pretty expensive to, will set you back bout 900 for just the hood.

also keep your eye out for hoods on other dodge fourms to, good luck.

Speed Grilles by Street Scene

About $300 shipped for upper and lower valance. Go big or go home.

Super pain in the *** to install. The clips are total blood suckers.

Also Indy I was wondering, with your new hood does it have a latch style similar to my ram where its in between the bumper and bottom of grille? I would assume so since where the stock one is would be impossible to get to with the inserts.

Traditionally there is modification that is a transfer cable or bar that extends the latch mechanism downward to the bottom of the grille/top of the bumper so you can reach it. There would be no getting to the stock location of course since the grille openings are "sealed".

HOWEVER, one of my 1000 modifications to my Durango include the relocation of my grille. That was done this year and sometime after the hood was installed back in 2008. I just use the stocker latching now. See below.
