ODB II not working
Can anyone help??
I went to take my 2000 Durango in to get smogged.
and i guess the ODB plug isn't communicating with any of their readers.
Im hoping it's just a fuse, manually checked them all, they look fine... but i could be missing one.
and so which fuse is it???
thanks so much, need to get it smogged asap
and this data connector problem isnt helping
wont send any codes or read it all all
quik response would be great
=D

ya, i checked the side door panel fuses
thought it would have been the cigar fuse, changed it with a spare, wasnt it
also checked under the hood main fuse box...none looked blown
but i also could be wrong, so help with what fuse is shared with the ODB II plug would be awesome, so i could just replace it and cross my fingers that was it.
btw is there any other fuse box other than the one under the hood and the drivers door jam???

Maybe a bad ground or PCM. Try resetting the PCM and checking the wire leads. It sounds to me like something from the port got pulled loose and it's not supplying power if the fuse is in tact. I'd check the routes for all your wires coming from the OBD port and trace the problem down.
Possibly a bad ground.
