A/C Compressor Cluch Change.

A/C Compressor Cluch Change.
I need some step by step instructions for changing the clutch on my A/C compressor on my 360 in my 1998 Durango.
The clutch is ticking and rattling badly. The A/C system itself has been serviced and blows cold so I don't feel like I need to replace the actual compressor.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Me either, I've heard of people getting a new clutch off a donor compressor but I've never in my years heard of buying just the clutch.
I'd like to know where you got just the clutch from if you've purchases it however, because mine seized up and I had to put a bypass pulley an the compressor is just chillin' in the shop.

Oookkkaaayyyy. Let me simplify this a bit.
How do I remove the clutch thingie from the compressor thingie?
Is it pressed on? Will a power steering pulley removal/install kit work? Is it bolted on?
I actually have a used compressor in my garage with a pulley and I assume it's in better shape and can pillage it if needed. I just want to know how it comes off before I take my only daily driver out of commission by stripping parts.

I'm not so sure. Nowhere in my first post did I mention a new clutch. Nor did I mention buying a new clutch, or that I even had a new clutch.
I simply asked step by step how one would go about changing said clutch.
What were the first two replies? That I couldn't buy new clutches, and wondering if I had a new clutch.
So far, the step by step of how the clutch is removed is still what's missing and ironically that's all I asked for.
While no offense was intended...it seems it WAS necessary.

Thank you. That would be just what I was looking for except nothing ever loaded on the other end. I'll try again later...maybe it was just traffic.
You'll have to excuse me if my patience is a bit short. This is third or fourth forum supposedly specializing in MOPAR with a Durango section. I've asked this question. Here are the answers I've gotten:
"Post pics of your Durango."
"Try searching."
"Pics? How do we know you even have a Durango?"
"It's as simple as disconnecting the compressor and bolting on a new one."
Let's just say I'm used to not getting the help I need.
I could figure it out by just jumping in and seeing how it comes off, but it's my DD and one part out means I can't drive it to work the next day.

I can understand, well we are not like every other forum out there. I have also been out on other forums in the past and I have stuck with this one for my issues and helping people out. I mainly help people out now but always have issues every so often.
We have a plethora of information and if you ever are in doubt use the search button but if you are ever in doubt feel free to start a new thread.
Also we have a sticky at the top of the page, if you stick around be sure to post some pics of your D there, (its the Show us some pics of your 1st Gen Durango thread).
Hopefully you find us not to be like every other forum out there, because were not so hopefully were more helpful around here.
