98 Durango Tune-up
So i finally found the time to do a tune up on my rig. man was it needed... replaced the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. sheesh. makes me think the previous owner never changed anything.
This spark plug was a bit of a shocker when i pulled it out...
Needless to say my rig runs much better.

I hear you on the much needed part haha, I've been there before too. I ran my champion plugs to 144K miles, they didn't look good at all. I replaced with NKG because they didn't have enough champion coppers in stock and so far 57K later mine are still looking almost new, I'm impressed with these.
This could spark up a huge debate though...again, some say autolites are better but most say stick with champion copper.

yeah... i know that since i purchased my vehicle in june of '10, ive put about 13000 miles on it... its got 138000 on it but i cant be sure because the engine appears to have been swapped out. so i cant know for sure if the engine has that amount or if it has less or more miles... but all i know is i love my rig and it runs great now.

That's pretty impressive that your coil could still bridge that gap haha. Since we're sharing pictures, here my original champion plugs that I pulled out after putting 144K on them. Mostly highway cruising miles so it was smooth sailing for these plugs.
They Still worked fine but I think it was time to replace them for sure haha.

Yeah definitely was time to replace Evon. It may be hard to believe but I've never let plugs stay in past 2 years or 40k miles. May sound a bit extreme but with the Champion Copper being so cheap in the past I couldn't help but try and keep my engine running at it's peak.
Now with the Champion Iridium being in there, I am going to let it be and just go with my change every 2 years rather than 40k miles since it seems I put 40k miles in about a year now-a-days! LOL
