Tire Question:
Currently I have mud tires on the Rango, they are worn down and I am wanting to switch to A/T tires. They are currently 35x-12.5-15. My question is, Would there be any issues if I went down to 33" tires, using the same rims? The price difference between 33" & 35" tires is significant.

Thanks for the info. I found that the selection for a direct replacement for my 35x 12.5 15, are kinda hard to find, The most I get are 2 or 3 choices depending on where I shop. From my understanding the last number being 15 is the rim size. What other size tires would fit on my Durango using this rim? The "D" is lifted and modified so that the 35s have no rubbing issues, etc.. I have been looking and I know the numbers i am looking up are the high-floatation tire sizes. Is there a metric number comparable to the the 35x/12.5/15 that is currently stamped on my tire that would fit my vehicle?

Great help guys. Thanks for the info. That 1010 tire chart just got added to my bookmarks. I decided to downsize to the 33" Goodyear Wrangler duratracs. It may look a bit goofy with the lift and the smaller tires, but I doubt the difference between 33" tires and 35" tires is going to be that noticeable. The lighter tire may give a little more mileage, a bit cheaper up front, and a little easier on the truck wear and tear.
