Default Fan/clutch fan

Hey guys quick question my friend was able to hook up a flex fan to his bronco without the clutch so it spins at whatever speed the engine is spinning at. And it really sounds nice would i be able to do this to a 318?

im sure you could find the parts to do it, but that would be one hell of a drag on the engine to run the fan at full engine speed all the time.

Why do that when you could get a electric fan conversion kit that gets rid of the fan clutch all together.......

the electric fan is definitely the better way to go if you dont like the clutch fan.

Just make sure and get a heavy duty electric fan espically if you plan on towing

Well specific type flex fans pull more air then electric and have a lot less continuous load than one would think. But I agree, a clutch will pull the most air hands down, while a full electric setup will only pull maybe 1 or 2 HP's from the load up of Amp's being used.

I used to run a flex fan on a Cobra Jet motor I had in my old Ford and it kicked *** over that particular OEM setup, but it still wasn't an electrical setup.
