Question Clunk clunk from fron end

I've got a 2002 Durango RT AWD . With a clunk clunk noise when I rh turn and go over a bump and drive from a stop but it doesn't do it all the time.. I recently had the transmission rebuilt due to the over drive bearing shattered..

Possibly something in the suspension?

Pull the tires off the front and check the u-joints. Also check the sway bar and any other suspension components to make sure everything is tight and in its proper place. What side of the vehicle and where does it sound like it is coming from?

Wouldn't hurt to check the ball joints either

Yeah, that definitely sounds like something in the suspension to me. I would check the sway bar like adukart said and I would also check the ball joints like that_guy said. I was thinking ball joints earlier myself but I couldn't get that part name off the top of my head (had to wife talking to me about something useless.)

If all of that is tight, not broke, and completely greased, I would then do as samnbensdad said and check your Intermediate steering shaft. If all of that seems sound and good to go let us know, but I bet you will find it somewhere in the front suspension!

Use a Floor jack under the outer most part of the lower control arms to unload the ball joints and try to shake them. If you don't the torsion bars will keep a load on them and they will seem tight.
