Default Weird idol problem

So when i first drive my car the car idols weird when i am coasting before a stop. At night the dash lights will dim and the blower will slow down for a second as the idol drops. It stops doing this after driving for about 15 min. Could it be a bad idol position sensor? I changed it about a year ago,but it's an electric part and who knows how long they will last these days.

how old is your battery? sounds like a battery is getting week and once it gets some run time to recharge the battery after starting.

I would agree with the battery, But would also add. Check the charging system, And was the idle speed sensor a aftermarket or a mopar?

+3 on the battery. You could start with checking the battery terminals for a clean connection also

The battery is new. The sensor is after market.

Load test the battery and clean the terminals real good. You should use a genuine mopar sensor from the dealer, aftermarkets tend to be hit and miss.......

Check your voltage on the gauge when you come to a stop and see if it drops. If it does it could be a alternator, or a battery temp sensor under the battery.

I would replace both the idle speed motor and TPS with mopar parts. And remove the throttle body and clean.
