new problem. ok drove it soem and thermostat seems to be holding now i have another issue my dad pointed out. the ront driver tire has alot of wear on the inside and no other tire does. is this just an alignment needing to be done or somthign else? also this might clue into whats wrong but when turning the wheel sometimes i get a popping noise from that area to could something be loose?

i would definitely expect that to be the balljoints, if you take it in for an alignment they should check all that before attempting it and refuse to do it if there are any bad parts, however they may also just replace them and charge you for it. If you find a good shop they will simply tell you parts x y and z need to be replaced before we can do an alignment on this truck

Depends on how hard and often the truck was used... it is possible in a 6 year time frame that they could go bad but, its also possible for them to be okay too..
