Default Suitable Electric Fan to replace Clutch Fan

I have a bad electric fan and since I have to replace it, I was looking to replace it with a higher end fan than the stock on on my 03 Durango 5.9 RT and remove the clutch fan at the same time. I live in SoCal, so not too worried about extreme driving temperatures. Any suggestions on a suitable replacement that doesn't require too much modification? I was looking at this one on eBay:

Any thoughts? I know its a little cheap...but so am I.

Thanks,
Bob

you definitely dont want to cheap out on the cooling fan, IMO you should still keep the stock electric fan even if you replace the clutch fan w/ an electric because it runs to help the A/C stay cool while the full size electric fan would take some work to set up this way and draw alot of power

After extensive research I used an electric fan from a for Taurus. It pulls over 3500 cfm of air, is dual speed, and can be had for less than $80. I used a dakota digital controller to run it.

Here's the exact fan I bought

Here's the bible on electric fan swaps in Durangos

I used a fan from advanced auto for my swap. It was bigger than the recommended fan and said it moved more air than recommended. I have over heating issues with extended idling and heavy stop and go traffic. I'm interested to see if the fan you bought performs better. Only thing I see that I did different is an aftermarket trans cooler.

my fan kept everything cool while idling in traffic with the a/c on in 110+ SC midday heat with very high humidity.

Do you have the secondary and used the taurus fan as your primary?

they didn't add the auxiliary fan until 2000, so the only fan I have is the taurus fan.
