Default 2000 durango wont start

hi. my 2000 durango with the 5.9 wont start. i bought it like this but i cant figure out why it wont start. i got fuel pressure in the rails and my timing light says i got spark. so i thought it was timing because it has over 200k so i put a timing chain in it and that wasent it. this is the first dodge ive ever owned so i dont know to much about them. its got new coil, pick up coil, cap and rotor by the previous owner. i even checked fireing order on the wires. the plugs are really wet so im gonna clean them off and see what that does also there was a lot of gas in the oil when i bought it i assume from people cranking it so much. if u have any ideas please let me know.

First, the timing in these trucks is set for you by the PCM... there is no need for a timing light... I would look at the crankshaft position sensor as the culprit.

When you replace the timing chain, did you remove the dist?

Thats good. As long as you did touch the dist, the timing should be okay and you don't need to set the sink timing. Have you replace the spark plugs yet? They maybe fouled to the point of not starting.

have you checked for spark yet? i dont mean w/ a timing light, pull a wire and put a plug in it, hold it to the block, what do you see? if the spark is not nice and strong id look at coil, wires or distributor cap/rotor
