The dot requirement is 2" of drop every 25 feet. I usually just eyeball it and see how it looks on the road.

As a person who has done PnP in both fluted and clear lens setup, as well as projector..

Fluted lens works quite well with HIDs. Ive personally seen these in other durangos/dakotas and they do not blind. Output is quite well. I nearly prefer them more than my FX-R projectors.

I guess it depends on the kit because I've seen the pictures of your fluted lenses with the pnps and they didn't look too bad, but I saw another Durango on the highway a week or two ago and it was glaring enough thought a spaceship was landing behind me. The light being put on the road was crap too. It did look like the lenses might have been all yellowed, but I couldn't tell for sure.

I hate the internet. All it does is show me more things to spend money on.

So, this seemed like a good place to kick this around and get some feedback. I am wanting to do an entire external lighting change. Headlights, tail lights, fog lights. So I am tossing around 2 options.

Option A:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/281253167082...84.m1438.l2649

Option B:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/281253107789...84.m1438.l2649

And then, if I do either of those (and yes, I know the headlights are the same in both options), but.. what fog light options exist?

Ideas, thoughts, comments please and thank you.

I don't really like either of those tail lights, but if it has to be one of those two I think the first ones (leds) is the least worst. I also think that blacked out headlights would probably look out of place on your truck, especially with the chrome grille.

As for fog lights all I've seen other than the stock ones are these ones with the halos, and I think they look like rice http://www.ebay.com/itm/SMOKED-02-09-DODGE-RAM-04-06-DURANGO-HALO-PROJECTOR-FOG-LIGHTS-SWITCH-BULB-PAIR-/111259175937?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ADurango&hash=item19e7904c01&vxp=mtr

Least worse huh?

Ok so yeah, had contemplated the black, but I like them, so I am gonna get the black and work with the exterior to go WITH the lights, lol, yeah I know backasswards! Not sure, yeah pretty sure... I don't like the alternative fog light options!

I wanna get it painted black and get a light bar for it SOMEDAY!

Don't get those housings at all! I had those in chrome and part of the reflector melted in both headlights! Plus they were very bad for light output. Absolutely avoid them at all costs!

With my experience, these are good headlights that i've been very pleased with:

Black:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/97-04-Durango-Dakota-BLACK-Headlights-1PC-Corner-DEPO-/160595832466?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item256441ee92&vxp=mtr

Chrome:

You could also go the two piece route:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Anzo-111021-...5f407e&vxp=mtr

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Depo-97-04-D...7325d6&vxp=mtr

The one piece units look nicer, but the two piece units will still look great and have a much more sturdy mounting system.

Don’t forget it’s a PITA to install the 1pc headlights - let alone adjusting them..

OEM setup all day.
