So far, yep you're wrong. Cylinder #4 piston is GONE only thing left is the connecting rod and wrist pin that I can see so far. Engine is still in the Durango as I am working as time permits...please see the attached picture. This is why I chose to go the donor motor route.

That is a damn good question...so far I have no freaking clue...

 

Think there is more damage than meets the eye.

 

I'm definitely thinking so....really glad we are only into the whole car for about $450.

 

Looks like number 6 smacked the valves as well.

OK, this is interesting, because crank can be OK. Now important question is condition of cylinder wall. It is possible that cylinder is OK. If crank and cylinder are OK, you can reuse old engine or sell engine block, crank and a cylinder head (I guess one of them is OK)
I sold about 100 cylinder heads on ebay (not 4.7), probably 4.7 heads go pretty high.(150?)
