Default Tranny trouble

Hi all i have a 2000 durango rwd 5.2 qith 46re that is stuck in limp mode. It is showing po753 i can clear the code and it will come back as soon as i start it up. As of today i have replaced the tranny fluid (it looked fairly good to begin with very little sediment) new filter and replaced all of the solenoids in the transmission. Any ideas would be helpful!
Currently it is stuck in third but i can manually shift it into first and second thank you.

That's kind of an odd code for a 46RE trans.... as the only 'shift' solenoid is the one for O/D. There is a governor pressure solenoid, but, I think there are different codes for that. Since nothing changed even after swapping out everything in the trans, time to look elsewhere. Are you actually getting POWER to the trans? Two wires should be getting power, the fat red one (I think) gets 12 volts, one of the others will get 5 to 8 volts..... Need to have the engine running to see the 12 volts.

I checked the fuse and it had some power so i assumed.... probably shouldnt have. Which wires are you talking about and where are they located? And yes im thinking one heck of an odd code for this transmission.

8 pin connector down on the trans. Drivers side, about halfway back. It's the one that plugs into the internal harness.

Wiring diagrams would be REALLY helpful here.

Anywhere near michigan? I think "rain" is in the forecast for the foreseeable future...... My neighbor started building his Ark last week.... I note that he is also gathering pairs of animals.... That is just NOT a good sign.......
