Default 03 stuck in neutral

I was driving down the Rd and without warning no slipping or any weird noises the truck bucked and it feels like it's in neutral in all gears except park

Is the t-case in neutral? With the truck in gear, can you push it? What about in park?

I can push it in gear but not park and I worked the switch for the transfer case you can hear it work under the truck and the neutral light doesn't come on it seems to work properly

Same thing happened to my 01 SLT yesterday.
Really frustrating after restoring the engine..
It appears to be the tranission pump.Although I haven't fully check d it out yet.
Would be nice if it was a cable. But I Doubt it

The sound you are hearing, Does it sound the truck is sucking air? Most of the time of on a RFE transmission, If the seal isn't installed correctly the filter will drop down and cause you to loose all forward and reverse gear. I would drop the pan and inspect. If you can post pictures so we can see what's going on. Also check the side plate on the valve body too. If the plate is bent that will cause you to loose 3rd and 4th gears.
