Dodge Intrepid 1996 Chassis problem!

Default Dodge Intrepid 1996 Chassis problem!

okay long story short my chassis broke on the right side of the car. where the axle is at and the bottom arm where it holds the whole side of the tire,brake rotor and so on..(sorry for my bad english)..where could i find another chassis?..i been told im gonna have to replace it and its not possible to get it welded..

any help on this guys?..any input that i should know?..
if pictures needed let me know..

It sounds like you are talking about the engine cradle(or K frame) as these are unibody cars and don't technically have a frame. If this is the case, you can get one from a junkyard off of any LH body Chrysler (LHS, Concorde, New Yorker, Intrepid, Eagle Vision) that has the same engine.

one more question??..what do i need to remove or get loose to remove the engine cradle?..

Go to the top of the second gen forum and see the post the holy Grail. The procedure should be about the same and will give you an idea on what to expect

Just wanted to make sure that you know that you can replace the lower control arm. Hope this helps. I find it hard to believe that the cradle broke.
