kind of a dumb question but did all the r/t's have ABS brakes? or was that just an option?

 

I believe it was an extra cost option, I have it on mine, but I don't have the original window sticker so I cant say positively.

 

2 of my last 3 r/t's didnt have abs....only 1 did
it was an option

 

how do i tell besides the pumping in the brake pedal?

if you want to be able to tell if its got abs then usually the brake pedel will say abs on it, or you can pop the hood and look down at the master cylinder.....if the car has no abs then you will just see 4 brake lines comming out of the master cylinder.....if you have abs, then there will be a large square box below the master cylinder with about 8 brake lines going too it

I belive if ordered a car withfourwheel disc it came with ABS.

 

abs was only available on cars with rear disc brakes.....but was still an option
you can get a car with rear discs that didnt have abs

 

You are wrong then. You could order it without the crappy ABS system.
