You will ground the switch...that's all. The car won't start unless its grounded.

I just did this last weekend so it is somewhat fresh in my memory.
The atx has a plug with 3 wires ,the middle wire is the one you need (black /yellow stripe).
The clutch/brake assembly that I aquired has a switch with 2 yellow wires attached to the clutch peddle.
I ran the (black/yellow stripe) wire that went to the old atxto 1 wire on the clutch peddle the other wire I grounded to the body. So when you press the clutch the car will start........

Sorry to bring this back agian guys. But i have one more question about this. Where do you splice the black wire in at from the tranny. Do splice in at somewhere from inside the car?I guess what i am saying is do i have to run that wire clear from the trany to the inside of the car or do i splice it from inside the car some where?

i added wire from down by the trans, you can actually pull them back out of the harness and they go right up by where you need them. its easier to just pull them out and add wire if needed.
the other 2 conntect to turn on the reverse lights
find a plug from a MTX car and hook them to the swtich on thetrans if you need them to work.

Yeah i need the reverse lights to work the car is going to be street legal. Do you have any pics of how to set this up. Wireing is deff not my strong point. Now i do have the entire wireing from a mtx my car was totaled so i gutted to whole thing and found a nyg thats a atx and im going to turn it into a mtx would it be easier for me to splice it or just change to whole wireing?
