everyone always talks about moving there battery to the Trunk but what is the point of it the only think i can come up with is more room under the hood

 

Sometimes people need to do it because they are running a turbo and it wont all fit correctly unless you move the battery. Also sometimes to make for a custom CAI sometimes peopel move the battery. Hell sometimes people just want a cleaner look and more room. Its really up to the person whether or not they want to move the batery. It doesnt make you "cooler" or make any difference if you arent doing the things I listed above. My $.02

 

yea he basically just hit the nail on the head there!

but a lot of people do find ways to keep the battery in the tray with a cold air intake or turbo
it's just a matter of re-routing the tubing

and re-locating the battery makes less trunk space

 

i thought about moving my battery to the trunk.....but it works just fine where its at....so i might just keep it there

 

some ppl do it for better weight distrubution

 

ok i can understand the hole turbo thing thats cool the reason i thought it so whas like Garrett said for weight distribution but i guess it wouldnt be to much considering the weight of the engine and the weight of the battery but that was my guess room and weight

I moved mine bc I needed the space. moving it requires a kill switch though for racing.
drag cars usually leave it up front to provide more weight over the front wheels.

 

Thats if you drive a FF car.
