Car: 1997 Plymouth Neon SOHC ATX (PENDING)
Location: Mechanicsburg, Pa 17055

I have seen some neons for sale here when people weren’t being honest. Although this is my first time selling on here, I’m going to try my best to describe the car I’m selling, cause I want it to go to a good home. I’m going to have the pictures do most of the talking.
I’m selling my neon. It’s a black 4 door. Has 117,000 miles on the body & transmission and about 2,000 on the motor. This could be a great little car for someone. I tried to make this my project car. Im about to start a family and this car has to go. I really hope this goes to someone who’d appreciate, and take car of the car like I have. I performed the usual maintenance to this vehicle, and it consisted of:
New Head gasket
New Valve cover gasket
New oil pan gasket
New radiator
New battery
New timing belt and water pump
New spark plugs and wires
New Fuel filter regulator (you know the one that always gets clogged)
Head has been resurfaced w/ 95 cam (sounds a little more aggressive)
DOHC block ( higher compression, 10:3.1)
Oil changed (Valvoline Max Life)
Oil pan completely scrubbed down to get all the sludge off
Radiator flush
New o2 sensors (before and after cat)
Very nicely white painted dash and more (this is the way I bought it)
New wiper blades
Compression test done. Its all good.
I went to the car wash to give it a good spray (26 june) and when I went to go spray the roof, some paint peeled off!!! (about the size of a dollar)[:@]
It also has a sagging headliner which I temporarily fixed with pins, I DO HAVE TITLE IN HAND. There is no P/S or A/C, but heater blows hella hot!! The cars paint could use tlc.

Comes with: Power bulge hood, bumper w/ foglight holes (needs a lil tlc), Iceman CAI, Pacesetter header, Prothane filled front mount, Comp 200 Cam w/ Magnum valve springs (not installed), Mopar high rate springs and KYB GR2 struts w/ brand new isolators, 01 R/T 16” rims and tires (tires need replaced) and rear strut bar.
I was going to swap to MTX so I bought a Hurst short throw shifter w/ booger bushings.

What the hell are you doing Louis. We worked so damn hard on this car and now your selling it. I cant beleive you didnt give me a chance on buying them both. You know Brian and I were gonna do the R/t swap into the purple one.

 

I'm sorry dude, but if you give me 200 for the shell, you can do whatever you want.
As for the black one, I really need the money for the family.

The video is me racing my wife.....lol....she has an 05 sunfire....and.....she won, but not as much as I thought.

 

Well ill talk to my dad tomorrow. As for now i have dibs on the shell. Because i do want it. Do i get the clutch with it still or no!

Everything comes with it. Hurst short throw shifter, LUK clutch everything. I just want it to go to a good person who respects neons, and thats you bud.
