RE: My Neon
the k&n intake built for the neon is only a warm air intake
the only real cold air intake is either the iceman or if you build a custom 3.0 intake
the iceman is not being sold under the "iceman" name
but for the exact same product i think that mopar took it over
it's 300 dollars and if you dont want to build the 3.0 intake its the best you're going to get

RE: My Neon
so the iceman intake is not the manifold is it? cuz i was talking about the actually air filter housing and how is it warm air? it doesnt reach all the way up to be cold air?
and thats cool about the power but i was wanting a hp range like ... what 200 or more?? or more then 300 ??? you know???
and there should be a way to remove the governer without loosing my speedometer?
and if you do can you hook up a aftermarket speedometer?

RE: My Neon
there aren't aftermarket speedometers for our neons
but if you do find one post it up
the iceman is the intake but iceman is discontinued
it places the filter next to the transmission
any filter in the rear of the engine is a warm air intake
it's getting hot air from the exhaust manifold
the only ones that move to next to the transmission to make it a true cold air intake is the iceman (if someone is selling it otherwise discontinued) mopar (the iceman now) or the 3.0
if you want an intake manifold there is the Indy intake manifold
there is also a guy on here building custom intake manifolds that are pretty BA and give a ton of power
