Default torque converter solenoid problem?

i am throwing a check engine light on my 95 neon......says the following:

code P0743

and it exlplains like solenoid short circuit or malfunction......

possible causes ....low or poor tranny fluid.....open or short.....failed torque converter clutch.....failed solenoid...........electrical problem...

what is most likely my problem? i am fixing this car and i am not very experienced with neons..........but if this problem has been seen before what is most likely my problem?

oh and the car drives weird...........like no torque at all and it just revs sometimes and then it will jump into gear............

thanks in advance

usually, by where the most heat is created and that makes the wiring fragiles and creates more resistance and the voltage and stuff is loss because of it

Replace the torque converter lock up soleniod switch. Mopar part number is 4799954aa. You will need to remove the valve body.

After the valve body has been removed there are 3 or 4 screws holding the solenoid to the valve body, and be careful the solenoid is spring loaded. Has two springs. and reseal the pan with black rtv silicone.
