So i took my car to the weigh station with 1/4 tank of gas and i weighed in at 2400lbs which suprised me i was thinking it was 2600 or 2700 lbs... and it was exactly at 2400 lbs was kinda cool also..

thats pretty good, have you done any weight redux, and also i got the same questions as mullet, 2 or 4 door, atx or mtx, base or other model

i wish i would have weighed mine before i started work on it, its a 96 sohc base mtx 2 door, the entire interior was trashed but everything else was good, bought it specifically to turn into a modified class autocross car, didnt feel so bad stipping out completely ruined interior parts

my last weight was 2100 even, with no spare, and a mostly stripped interior and a full tank of gas (no ac/ps)

next weight will come next friday, since then ive removed all the asphault sound deadening, some of the vents, some un-needed wiring, and all the black rubber/foam sound deadening from under the dash

i dont know it was a weigh station

and no i dont have any weight redux done yet just an empty trunk... and no headliner cuz i plan on redoing it.. oh and i dont have Ac but my car never had a/c

 

did you have any thing in ur trunk or cab?
spare tire, jump cables, backpack, spare parts

 

no absolutly nothing in the trunk cuz i had a water leak and i took everything out cuz i didnt want the carpet to mildew

 

ive never had anything in there to begin with though.. just carpet and speaker wire and some random tools.. i never had the little hidatire thingy or evena spare tire.. i have a spare tire but its not the one that comes in the trunk

 

i waighed my car a while back, it was like 3100 lbs with me in it... i am 250, so i did not think that was to bad with a few bags of trash in the trunk.....[&:]
