I raced a 2000 or so civic si tonight....needlass to say, he wooped my ***....i have no idea what mods he has, but that thing must redline at around 8K...I also had a buddy and his girlfriend in my car which added about 500lbs to my car...we started at about 20mph and got up to 65 in about a 200ft stretch..in town, DUMB!!! eh, it was fun...

I'm going to take a wild guess here and say it was acually a 2001-2005 7th gen honda civic SI, with the K20A3 block in it...

They compair quite closely to our dohc's...

they just have v-tech will kill you every time...

 

how does v-tech work? is that all in the intake? like does more space open up for more air or something? im pretty sure thats how i understood it. i dont like civics or hondas in general. not cuz theyre junk. theyve probably got their perks. i just dont like them.

well for civics their endless things u can do to them with the right block so be carefull out their im an old civic driver but i joined the americancar club to try it out but theirs plenty of civic that i know that will hand my *** over to me ina silver plate with a silver fork and tell me to eat it pretty much i just got a neon but i use to own a civic with a b16 engine turbo charged with internals and all but i grew tired of it and their were plenty of cars out their even faster then these neons that i would kill

 

here is a video that shows how vtech works inside the engine... basicly there are 3 exhuast valves instead of 2 one is smaller... above a pre set rpm the 3rd valve is hydrolicly opened allowing the motor to breath a **** ton better...
