I was wondering which company made a better header? Chikara or pacesetter. I have a 98 neon Dohc. I have the pacesetter exhaust so i was wondering if it would be best to stick with pacesetter so i'd keep the exhaust the same brand?
I have heard the the pacesetter header is not that good and that the paint will come off in a short period of time if you don't get the armour coated one. I have never heard of Chikara.
Borla or Magnum Header would be best to retain emmisions equipment and still give a good gain, and both are Stainless steel and will not rust out. LongTubes are the best for power but require re-locating the cat farther down and alot of custom fabing. If you go Long tube you'll need to get it coated to help prevent rot and lower the engine bay temp. AF/x, kirk and Fastfab make the Long tubes.
Well even with the kirk you can pass emmissions, you just have to put a cat at the end of it. It's what i had to do with my AF/x LT and i passed strict Ontario Emmisions testing with flying colours!
