ok i was lookin for a motor and i called alot and i asked for the 2.4 block for stratus. the guy said he has one and he has a 2.5 block for a stratus.... now i didnt no that they made they made a 2. block is it true if so im gettin asap..........

 

No... they put 2.5L's in the older dodges. Like early 90 and late 80's? I am pulling one from a dodge spirit right now. its a sohc. Either the guy is shot or maybe I just dont know. Go look at it. People at junkyards around here are stupid. If you want something done right do it yourself.

 

2.5 is a v6 for first gen stratus/cirrus/breeze

wont fit in neons... people have tried...

 

and the 3.0 was only in the coupe 2nd gens. the sedans got the 2.7L...or atleast i haven't seen a sedan with the 3.0L.
