iceman intake
i installed an iceman intake today, i am really impressed with the sound change. so just letting everyone know that iceman would be my recomendation to anyone planning on getting an intake
There is an improvement, but the more mods you put on the more difference you are gonna feel. On the 1st gen neon the intake and exhuast are restrictive, free that up and any mods will breathe better.
Don't go through any deep puddles and do don't rev the motor. My 98 is not lowered yet and I mesured about 12" to the bottom of the filter, you would have to submerge almost the entire filter to suck water, the filter is another 6", so thats almost 18" of water. So unless you are really not paying any atention you should have no problem. I have had mine on for a year now in the crappy New england rain, sleet, and snow and have not had a problem.
ive got an iceman. im going to wait till the spring though to install it because of all the snow here. plus i have to reorder all of the mounting hardware. minus the battery tray

There are a few good headers out there, I went with the kirk racing, I just got my emmisions done, so I have 2 years before they will bother me for not having a cat. Check out modern performance, they have a few options there.
