It depends on a few factors. I heard the highest you can do on street fuel is between 10.5:1 and 11.0:1 But dont quote me. You can also shave down the head to drop the compression also. What are your plans?

I ran 10.5:1 on my sohc, with mopar ecu, udp, no a/c or p/s, then afew other basic bolt ons. I beat my cavy that ran 15.2. I was impressed. Anyways. I wouldnt get the mopar ecu if you plan to run all motor. Go with af/x? Higher rev limiter and more advance timing. Then go with the 10.5 pistons with a slight deck on the head. Run 92 or 93 octane. Maybe a small shot of nos is in order. Dont forget do upgrade your valve train.

Just to expound a little. Dont get the Mopar PCM if you want to go turbo. if your going NA though its fine for a mild build. if you want extreme go with AF/X or if you really want to, go with mega squirt.

I think by saying he is wanting higher compression, that turbo is not in his plans. If that were the case, then he would want to lower his compression.
