Spacers are not the best idea for cars. I don't know why people use them....they are unsafe.

If you want bigger rims and tires....get a bigger vehicle.

a friend of mine used to have spacers on one of his cars.....until the spaces and the wheel came flying off

Ture, but they fit and that was all I had laying around at the time. Plus they sure look mean.

245/40-18 is way too big for a neon.
an 18 will have to run a 30 series tire
