i have 205/40/17 and that's about the limit on a 7.5" wide rim. You will have to get wheel spacers for the rear to get a proper alignment, but I've found that's about the limit. Maybe a 40/18 or 35/18 can fit. But 205 is about the limit...start rubbing on the frame whille u turn.
Q: What size tire should I use if I am getting bigger rims?
A: 195/60-14, 205/60-14, 195/55-15, 205/50-15, 215/50-15, 205/45-16, 215/45-16, 205/40-17, 215/35-18 are some common tire sizes that will fit.
I had 215/35/18's on and they BARELY rubbed if I cranked the wheel ALL the way. Wheels were 18x7 +40mm offset. I DIDN'T have any spacers on the rear and I was able to set the alignment perfect!!!!!
205/35/18 ??? WTF??? Never ever ever seen a 205/35/18. I used to manage a Goodyear and I've seen A LOT of tires and haven't ever seen a 205/35/18
