Default want to turbo a sohc

any suggestions on where to get possibly a kit that i wont get ripped off on or maybe if someone has a kit to sell. wondering if my crane 14 will still work well with a turbo or if i should buy a turbo grind cam thanks buh bye

the crane 14 would work perfectly with a turbo

Hahn is the only kits modern offers one w/ and one w/o an intercooler...i suggest get the intercooler..safer for the engine

if you decide to go with a hahn kit, it would be cheaper to buy the kit with no intercooler, then find a nice aftermarket intercooler and buy a piping kit off of ebay...that would save you a hell of alot of money...
the hahn intercooler costs about $800 by itself if i remember correctly, and its not really all that big....for less money you could pick up a new big front mount intercooler

thats not exactly true....
there are alot of things with the hahn kit that should have been done differently and could of been done cheaper(while not loosing quality) that hahn just wont do....

you could piece together a turbo kit that uses the srt4 turbo/manifold for less then 1/3 the price of the hahn kit....and use better components...

especially when you can find any machine shop with the right tools that can fabricate a nice turbo exhaust manifold for fairly cheap, yet hahn charges $600 for one with their name on it

yea but hunting down the parts will be a big pain but a srt manifold will bolt up then all i would need would b piping oil lines coolent lines (i believe) and downpipe bassically
