I have a chance to get my hands on a 92' mitsubishi tt motor 3.0 v6 with 30k miles and was just rebuilt but my question is will it fit or will i have to cut in order to make it fit ?

i could only imagine the amount of work that would have to go into making that motor work....not to mention the tranny you would have to use.....i seriously doubt there is even enough room in the engine compartment for that motor

thats why i was asking about it cuz i think when i look at the engine and look at how small the engine bay is im like looks a little to big but i heard if i cut the firewall a little bit it would work and then i got a seriously insane neon

it would seriously take more then a lil cutting of the firewall... most likely would take moving the whole firewall back at least a few inches... if you wanna do an off the wall swap how about swaping in a 2.5 v6 out of an older stratus or sebring... they are a really small v6 actually to the point they might almost fit in the neon engine bay... but seriously the tt v6 out of a stealth ain't gonna be an easy swap...
