205/40/17 got them on mine and love them, yes oversize tires make parts wear faster, but the car handles better and looks better, you play you pay.

its not rude to try and save someones life, as these cars with improper size wheels drive right next to us on the same highways. Someones need to look cool threatens all of our safety .

and I'm not going to start to list the reasons why those aftermarket wheels are unsafe . its common sense

thats exactly what im saying, those rims were never intended by the engineers that designed the cars.

so you think tires that rub are safe to yourself as well as all the motorists around you?, heaven forbid you have a blow out at freeway speeds.
Heck while your at it advocate use of spacers too.

I personally cant in good conscience recommend people to do something that is so unsafe to themselves as well as the rest of the motoring public.

99% of aftermarket rims are junk anyways, regardless weither they are forged in China or Germany.

Thanks for taking yours and my familys safety into consideration.

so with that said...no one should ever mod there cars in the slightest? anything to "mod" a car is altering it which it wasnt intended for? dont tint your windows cause you cant see at night? does that really make sense? come on be realistic...so because i have 17's vs someone who has 15's keep in mind my tires never rubbed was the correct offset and such im a bad person cause my tire could blow out just like any other tire? makes perfect sense
