Everyone has their own way of cleaning the motor.

Depending on the condition it begins at:
1) Pressure wash
2a) Simple Green
2b) Rinse
2c) Wipe Dry
3) Armour All Rubber & Plastics
4) Polishing with Mother Alumn. Polish on Polished / smooth metal parts.

I will use Q-Tips to get dirt out of difficult cracks and angles. Small wire wheel to remove any RTV that may be exposed and to breath life in to the meal of the head.

If you meant cleaning the inside of the engine, use SeaFoam. Amazing stuff.

Goes in the gas and oil, cures alot of things from hesitation, to leaky injectors, pinging, knocking.

It cured my mad ticking from when my engine ran dry.

Unless your old mercedes was a 4 cylider, I wouldnt doubt it. It clearly says on the bottle to use it in small 2 and 4 cycle engines.

You can use it on anything, the bigger the engine the more you need. I think the dodge cc cleaner stuff is basically the same stuff. Because you run it through the engine and then let it sit

mopar cc is better imo. I've used both. the mopar stuff cleans more of the carbon deposits.

if you use the mopar though, you need to replace the plugs after.
