Default what is going on

im driving on the freeway andthe car stalls. and continues to stall every 15 seconds of driving. and each time it stalls, i have to wait at least 5 minutes before it will start again. so then i decide to drive very slow, and the car drove without stalling for about 5 minutes .which is the time it took for me to get home . my questin is why is it stalling at mild to heavy acceleration. and will drive without stalling if i drive at low acceleration 20 mph i checked the codes and they are 12,17,44,47,72,55

The code 72 is for catalytic converter failure. You need to replace it and maybe get your alternator and battery checked while you are at it. Also look at the thermostat and engine coolant temp sensor.

i have been drivng the car with the code 72 for some months with no problem . and the coolant sensor was installed last july. and i think the code 47 may be from having my hazzard lights on for some time yesterday. today i started the car ,warmed it up for 5 minutes.and put the car in gear and it stalls and will not start right away. so i have to wait at least 2 minutes for it to start .why wont it start right away after it stalls

Check the wiring to the downstream O2 sensor. So you know you cat is good? Code 72 is Catalyst efficiency below required level, so it might have been just bad for a long time and now it has crapped out on you.

when the coolant sensor was replaced the mechanic cleared the codes. and the good thing is that he installed the sensor for a box of duncan donuts and 2 cups of coffe.
