Alright, so I have run into a problem. I have successfully got the K-frame mounted up! Horray!... Now I have run into a problem! I went to put the wheel spindle/hub on the balljoint and install the struts (SRT-4 struts and spindle/hub) and it seems like the strut is too long, and when the strut is connected to the strut tower, it is off with the spindle/hub!... Any thoughts?
Yeah, where the knuckle and the strut connect is different between the 1st gen an SRT-4. THe SRT-4 has a thicker knuckle, so the strut's brace is wider, where as the 1st gen is thinner, so the brace is thinner. I cant mix and match the two...
Heh, no suggestions then..? Bah! I think I might just take out the knuckle and strut, connect them, then connect it to the A-arm... if that doesnt work, I am clueless...It's got to go on there though! When I got the other car, it was on there like that! I will get some pics posted as soon as I find out where the camera is!
Alright, I got the struts/knuckles and all that stuff done! Now I have a small problem. Since the transmission is a hydralic tranny, I need a different clutch pedal... Well, I bought a set of SRT-4 pedals off Ebay... and the damn things wont go in where they are supposed to! Did I buy the wrong ones? Is there a difference between the PT and SRT-4 MTX pedals?
