When I got my truck I got about 13. Now after a 1000 miles (trucks been sitting for a few years) with fresh oil and some snake oil fuel additive/cleaner I'm getting 16,8 granny driving. New tires, a little taller (like a per cent or two) made it go from 16,low to 16,high.

I just bought my truck yesterday and I had a full tank when I left the guys house and I drove 130 miles. and its just under half a tank. I believe its either a 22 gallon tank or a 24 gallon. I'm not sure what it has. It seems as if I get better city mpg than highway. I'm thinking 11 mpg combined. Its an 86 power ram 250 royal se with a 5.9l and 4.11 rear gears

With that setup, you may very well get better city mileage.
As for the tank, my truck has a 22 gallon tank that fits 25 gallons. Figure that one out.
thats why i said "all depends on how high the speed limit is but usually if you do the speed limit you should get fairly decent gas mileage."
my 81 would get pretty decent gas mileage running down the highway at 75mph but i got 3.23 gears.

Also I know I'm not in the right thread but I figure its as good a time as any to ask. The truck is a 1986 3/4 ton 4x4 so do any of you know what front differential I have? Its either a Dana 44 or a Dana 60. I know its a Dana 60 with 4.11 gears in the rear.

I just bought a 1990 W250 (3/4-ton, 4WD) pickup. It has a 318ci V8 and a 4spd automatic trans. It's rated for 11 city/14 hwy, but I got a shade over 15 driving it the 80 miles between filling stations near the farm where I bought it and my place. I think it'll do better after it has some maintenance it might need. I welcome any suggestions. (By the way, this is my first post of the Dodge Forum.)
