Default 86 ram /6 to 360 what do i need?

Finally swapping out the slant 6 for a 360 and need to know what all i need to rob off a donor truck for the swap. I plan on using a msd 6al box for the ignition and a 727 for a tranny. I was wondering if the crossmember is the same or do i need to get a crossmember from the donor truck? Also is there anywhere to order motor mounts or do i need to get them off the donor truck too? Thanks for all the help guys

On the motor mounts i had to replace mine. I got them at www.rockauto.com for like $3.00 each,in town they were about $10.00 each. Dont forget the trans mount?

You should have everything you need, providing the "donor" truck is mostly complete. I'd get some new motor mounts if the donors are bad.

What are doing the swap in? Is the donor the same? Need more info, please.

I dont have a donor truck, I was planning to go to junk yards and hopefully find everything I need. As far as for motor mounts I was planning to buy new inserts but I need the actual mounts themselves for the V-8. The truck I am doing the swap in is a 1986 d100

Thanks for the input

Buying a donor truck will probably save you a lot of money rather than buying individual parts.

Crossmember's the same. Trans mount's the same design, but locates the engine differently fore and aft. Get any V-8 auto trans mount, the mtr mnt brackets, isolaters. Check your radiator to see if the necks are in the right spot to work with your water pump. {Not I beleive} Nothing else from the scant sicks will work, except the alternator itself, and maybe the fan.

Even a rusty $100 turd 318 donor truck would save you major time and headaches hunting brackets and do dads, and be cheaper too. I'd find one if you can.

what shape is the 78 in ? might be easier to use it. if it has a 50 way Bulkhead Connector it should be ok.
