A/c ??
Nope, AC is not working yet. I really think I might do some suspension work next like new front coils and add-a-leaf in back first. If I get too comfortable, I might start kicking back. Ha ha...
I took it on a little adventure to Medina Lake the other day when I was on vacation. The longest drive it's been on in a couple of years. A few hiccups on the drive but nothing major.

what type of add-a-leaf where you thinking of adding. i like home made add-a-leaf kit the previous owner installed in my 81. it looks like they cut the ends off a main leaf spring and installed it under the main leaf. they also shortened another leaf and installed it under one of the other leafs.
hey sixgun,
truck body looks nice and straight, even tailgate. is the engine broke in yet from the rebuild?? it will run a lot better when you start running it more and get some miles on it. thank you

Hey Aje,
I'm still taking it easy for the break in. I bought a newer CD player and put in 2 more speakers. Put in a vacuum gauge and tach recently. I really want to put in this old siren from a 72 Chrysler New Yorker old school car alarm. It is loud as hell like an air raid siren.
Wolfie,
For the coils, I was originally going to go with Eaton but read a lot of good things about Coil Spring Specialties customer service dept. and they are a little cheaper too. As far as add-a-leaf, I probably will go Rancho but I've used Pro-Comp before and liked them. Still debating the long leaf vs short leaf. Home-made, I feel would be twice the trouble since I don't have a set laying around. With store bought, I just have to do the labor once.

Hey! I did a ton of looking around also, since I narrowed it down to this same exact problem. most likely just the diaphragm in the old switch. Really annoying that it comes down to this one cheap part and can't seem to find it anywhere. I am wondering, however, if an aftermarket one will work if the cut off switch is rated at the same PSI???
