Default Intermittent crank no start

I have a 93 W250 5.9 magnum it runs perfect until it dies and will crank and not start and with the switch in the on position the injectors will click and stop and click and stop and the fuel pump will run and stop and run and stop. After sitting for a good while it will start. Any help will be appreciated.

That sounds like a PCM problem...... See if you can 'warm up' the pcm with a hair dryer, and get it to quit.

It didn't change anything. I'm wondering if it could be in the wiring.

Something is getting hot, and failing..... It *might* be a wiring issue.... start it up, let it idle, and tug/pull/bend the various wiring harnesses, and see if it dies.

I found a wire coming out of the ducks foot that was getting really hot so I gave it a tug and it broke off flush with the ducks foot. I'm guessing that the wire went to the ign switch because it lost all power no guages or starter. Anyway, I whittled off enough of the ducks foot so that I could re attach the wire and cranked it up and let it idle for around a hour and it never missed a lick. I'm praying this was my problem. I think I need to eliminate the ducks foot. Any suggestions?
