I really don't know how to do that. It won't run but it sounds like all of them are misfiring. And when it finally dies, the injectors are all clinking. I can hear them and feel them when I put my fingers on them. What would cause that. It does this randomly.
Reset the computer. (just disconnect the battery, turn on the headlights, turn off the headlights, hook the battery back up.) give it a crank, see what happens. Might also try holding the gas pedal to the floor and crank it.
Is it flooding out? Or is it just not firing the plugs? If you have regular champions in there, I have seen them get flooded once, and never fire again.....
No it's not flooding out. I don't use champion for that very reason.I had a 70 Cuda with a 440 6 barrel stroked to 500 cid. That broke me from using champion. I didn't check to see if it was still getting spark to the plugs or not. I will do that tomorrow. Thanks
Well I checked to see if it is getting spark and it is not getting spark from the coil to the distributor. It is still getting 12 volts to the coil when I first turn the switch on.
What would cause the injectors to click while the switch is on and the engine not running? It's not doing that now but that's what always happens when it stalls.
